Photek feat. Robert Owens – Mine to Give
Reaching back to the year 2000, who cannot remember this anthem. Regarded as one of the best crossover house tracks of that year from a producer whom was highly regarded in the drum and bass scene prior. If you wonder where people like Azari & III probably got some inspiration, then look no further. Fit this into your next set. Where are you photek?

Nicolas Jaar – Come n Get It
Another post about a wolf + lamb track. I can’t help it, but that’s what I’m really feeling these days. New Yorks Nicolas Jaars first foray into edits at the tender age of 19, hits it bang on with “Come N Get It.

Lord of the Isles
Well, for my first of what will hopefully be many posts on the Low Motion blog, I thought I’d shed a little light on a for now little known producer from Scotland, Lord of the Isles. LOTI has honestly been one of my favorite musical finds of the last year or two. There is something about his tracks and the way that he arranges them that just gets stuck in your head. His approach to edits is almost unique and seems to buck a lot of the more common trends embraced in edit circles of late. He has a certain attention to detail in his music that is honestly refreshing in my opinion, from his clever and subtle use of rare and obscure samples, to his trippy and entrancing breakdowns. So without further notice, let’s do this!

NavBox – He Likes You Too
Washington DC based industry newcomer, NavBox aka Navid Zahraie has created a stunning and emotional rework of Jeff Buckleys “Everybody Here Wants You”. According to Soul Clap “This tune was one of the most magical moments of Soul Clap’s 2010 Sunday School For Degenerates DJ set that had DJ T of Get Physical fames’s jaw dropping and feet moving.”
Cope this along with other a few other tracks off the The Clap & Friends FreE.P. for FREE!!!! on the Soul Clap Blog. Check out the “Strange Cameo” by No Regular Play too.

No Regular Play – It Doesn’t Matter / Slide Away [Wolf + Lamb]

A2 slide away by no regular play
Following along with that slowed down sleazy house vibe that I know is becoming quite popular again especially within the Wolf + Lamb camp and their immediate crew, is the latest offering from No Regular Play. W+L posted some snippets to their sound cloud and it sounds so good that I thought I’d share. I can’t wait for this release on the 20th of September. Confirmed are remixes by Gadi Mizrahi + Deniz Kurtel & Zev. “Slide Away”‘s wonky, broken beat intro builds into beautiful piano chords until a small orchestra of trumpets under a distorted sub low bass alert us to their presence. Real deep vibes with the right amount of smooth male vocals.
And Here’s the A1 Side
A1 doesn’t matter by no regular play
This release reminds me of old vikter duplaix or peven everett. Something you’d hear on Jazzanova’s raidio show back in 2002. No matter, I’m really feeling this vibe. I prefer “Slide Away” as opposed to “It Doesn’t Matter”, but both tracks sound as if they’ll accomplish exactly what NRP was hoping for.

Chez Damier & Stacey Pullen – Forever
I think I’ll start posting a classic house track each Monday to get your week started. Not much needs to be said here. This is a unique melodic journey through the minds of Chez and Stacey from 1993. Released on Serious Grooves , the EP titled “Classics” featured four tracks. Two versions of “Forever” along with “A Dedication to Joss” and the “Bah Bah Song”
